"Boat’s here!" said the many hard working attendants at Kaladim port. People were about, selling, trading, yelling. It was a busy port, full of hustle and bustle. Athme jumped from his sitting spot on the dock and grabbed his belongings.

"About time! I was going to ask Mother Tunare herself to take me there!" Athme said while picking up his bow and quiver. "Are you guys coming or are you going to fish all day? Sheesh, You’ve caught enough fish to feed the nation of Kaladim and then some!"

Savantra, Cadanyth, and Sandain all turned to Athme and then to their basket full of fish. Yes, indeed they had a lot. They must have been fishing for what seemed half a day. Upon arriving at the port early morning, they set camp and fished until the boat would come. One fish turned into two, then into four. Indeed they had enough fish to feed all the dwarves in all of Faydawr. Realizing that the boat was near, they packed up their stuff and prepared to board the boat.

"What’re we gonna do with all these fishies?" asked Sandain curiously. He swung the pole around and let it rest on his shoulder, nearly hooking Athme in the process.

"I guess I’ll just make fishcakes again" murmured Savantra.

Athme, Sandain, and Cadanyth all groaned. It wasn’t that Savantra’s fishcakes were bad, they were pitiful. But the group had not a lot of money to spare during their trip to Antonica, so any form of rations would prove most helpful. But eating fishcakes day and night really put a damper on their tastes. Athme was the worst out of all. Sometimes he couldn’t keep the fishcakes down in his stomach resulting in him excusing himself and feeding some poor hungry young aviak. Soon thereafter the aviaks didn’t want it either. Athme was beginning to wonder if he could poison the whole Crushbone Orc Clan with this stuff…

"What’s wrong with fishcakes?" asked Savantra, giving that innocent puzzled look.

The other three quickly snapped attention. Sandain, quickly answered "Oh Nothing! It’s just that the boat’s so… late! Yes… that’s it! Really Sav, your fishcakes are the best in all of Norrath!" Sandain didn’t want to upset her. Cadanyth was about to say something but Sandain nudged her hard. She remained quiet and mumbled something about skunks tasting better fried. Savantra didn’t hear a word and brought the bucket of fish with her onboard the ship. Sandain and Cadanyth soon followed. Athme turned once more to the land he grew up in his whole life. He was about to explore new grounds. He had never seen the other side of the world. Then again, he never needed to. Everything he needed was here on Faydawr. The group had asked him to go with them in hopes of exploring new territory and seeing the world. "It’s gonna be an adventure!" said Sandain a day ago. Some adventure Athme thought. He had never been on a boat before and he was getting nauseated just staring at it bob up and down, left and right. He had a bad feeling about this trip, but he decided to go anyway.

"Boat going! All aboard!" Said the working attendants at the port authority. Athme snapped out of his trance and jumped onto the deck. He took a seat next to Sandain and Cadanyth, Savantra was fishing off the side. The boat lifted anchor, and sailed off into the Ocean of Tears.

The wind caught onto the sails immediately, and the boat sped forth at a fast speed. It was a clear bright day out, with the sun just over their heads. They could smell the salt in the air as it hit their noses, and feel the breeze whip and refresh their bodies. Not many people were on the boat at this trip, but the few that were there were all dwarves and elves, all ready to explore the new continent or trade goods at the famous port of Freeport.

"I’m gonna go clean these fishies and see what I can do with them" Savantra said, and moved to the lower deck.

Cadanyth waited till she could no longer see her and shook her head. "We won’t make it to Freeport if she keeps poisoning us like this! Day in and day out I’ve been eating this orcish filth! I can’t take it anymore! I want real food! Not this garbage!"

Sandain laughed and shook his head also "She’s just trying to help. I’ve got to admit though, it does taste better than grubs that Jayden gave to us that one time. But just too much of it is really hard on my stomach."

"Yes, she’s trying to help… I can appreciate that. But did you see the bucket she brought down? That’ll feed us for at least a week. I’m not sure you would even survive that San." Cadanyth laughed playfully. Sandain laughed nervously this time, she was right.

The boat was now passing the jutted rock islands, home to various tidal lord goblins and the alluring sirens. Sandain got up and went to the side of the boat, looking at the spectacle. Many had come to see this at one time or another, just to see the sirens and their grotesque beauty. Sandain found no beauty in that. They were monsters, and their seductive song would lure many into their deaths. He had heard many stories of elves succumbing to their will, then devouring them once they got in reach. Sandain shivered at the thought of being devoured.

Cadanyth joined Sandain and peered across the ocean with him. Her eyes scanned the horizon, making out every wave and rock island that passed by. It’s beauty enveloped her for she hasn’t seen something as amazing as this. She stood silent for a moment soaking in as much as she could then turned her head slightly to Sandain.

"Where is this dungeon you speak of?" She calmly said, eyes fixed on the water.

"It’s in this place called the Commonlands. The entrance is near some sand area. It is rumored that a group of huge humanoids inhabit the area. I have no claims as to if this is completely true."

Cadanyth had heard of these large humanoids. The humans had brought stories of these giants that stand as tall as the Kelethin decks and are slowly inhabiting the land and destroying anything in their path. Cadanyth did not like the idea of meeting one of these things. She could only imagine how fearful she would be if she ever did.

"Uuuugghh…"

Sandain and Cadanyth turned around and saw Athme sprawled on the floor, clutching his stomach.

"Uuuuuuggghh… I don’t feel well…"

The two of them knew all to well that Athme was seasick. His face made some obscene contortions much like a blowfish ready to explode. He clutched his head and tried to keep it still, but the boats rocking only made it worse. He closed his eyes and hoped that the dizziness would go away but it worsened. He sat up and tried to calm himself, and found Sandain and Cadanyth staring at him with amusement written on their face

"Ohhh whaat? Yew think dis is (blurp) funny? Wait till we dock, I’ll … uggghhh…" Athme gagged, and with his last strength propelled himself towards the two. They parted fast, and Athme released a late lunch which consisted of…. Fishcakes. He heaved and heaved as all the contents spilled out of his mouth. Sandain bellowed in a huge laugh, while Cadanyth covered her mouth and shook her head. Athme finished and plopped down, wiping his mouth on his sleeve.

"You ok?" asked San, stifling another laugh.

Athme nodded and mocked a smile towards Sandain. Savantra came back up from below deck with the basket of prepared fish. She couldn’t cook them on the boat, so she would have to wait till they docked in Freeport. She set the basket down and saw Athme in such a terrible mess. She rushed towards him and examined his face.

"Ohh you look famished Ath! Are you ok?"

Athme nodded in acknowlegement and gave a weak smile.

"Ok that’s good, but here have another fishcake, it might make you feel better…" Savantra produced another fishcake from nowhere, and Athme looked at it once and headed for the side of the boat again, heaving.
